Forever piston rod hardening and tempering furnace adopts IGBT inverter and 12 pulse incoming line, automatic feeding, automatic heating, automatic cooling and discharging. We set four sets of high accuracy infrared thermometer on quenching part and tempering part, which can ensure the heating temperature is in the required range, thus ensuring the production quality.
Due to the different application and working condition of piston rods, sometimes the piston rod must be processed with coating rolling, hardening and tempering, nitriding and so on. Through these processes, piston rod performance can reach the application requirement.
However, not all the types of piston rods need hardening and tempering process. Whether need this process mainly depends on the piston rod raw material. But after hardening and tempering, the piston rod can get the following advantages:
1.Effectively improve the working intensity of the material.
2. After hardening and tempering, it can have good comprehensive mechanical properties.
3. Contribute to the sealing of surface micro-cracks, impede the expansion of erosion, and improve the ability of the surface to resist corrosion.
4.Effectively eliminate the internal stress generated by quenching to achieve the desired mechanical properties.

Manual feeding → Roller transportation → Induction heating for quenching → Spraying cooling for quenching → Roller transportation → Induction heating holding for tempering → Spraying cooling for tempering → Roller transportation → Chain walking cooling table → Pipe receiving platform
