The power per unit area is the basis of calculation of work piece total power and choosing equipment.It has relations with the hardening layer depth,the work piece size, heating time, current frequency and heating method.For the small work piece,user should use larger power; for big work piece,user should use large power.
In the choice of the total power of induction heating equipment, the efficiency of the induction heating equipment should consider the transformer efficiency, efficiency of inductor and the loop line transmission efficiency into account, and the total power meet the process requirements.
