Maintenance methods of power supply of billet induction heating furnace

When the billet induction heating furnace is formally entered into production, it is necessary to pay attention to regular inspection and maintenance, which can greatly improve the performance stability and working life of the billet induction heating furnace, avoid unnecessary consequences and burn out the equipment inductor. Combined with other problems found in routine maintenance, we have established the following maintenance procedures for the billet induction heating furnace.

1. Daily maintenance work(Need to be carried out every day)

1.1 Try your best to keep clean for the inside of IF billet induction heating furnace and clean oxidizing slag accumulated in the induction furnace thoroughly. Carefully check whether there is crack or damage for the furnace line. If any problem, it need repair in time. If there is crack of less than 2mm for the furnace line, the refractory cement should be repaired. If the crack is more than 2mm, operator should remake the line. Therefore, it is necessary to take necessary measures according to the actual situation.

1.2 Check the waterways to ensure the waterways are unimpeded, backwater is sufficient, no leakage occurs, and the inlet temperature is not more than 35 ℃. Find problems to deal with it in time.

1.3 Observe whether there is abnormal appearance for the varistors, protection resistors and capacitors in the IF power supply cabinet, whether the fastening bolts are loosened or not, and whether the solder joints are soldered off or not, whether there is leakage of the IF capacitor electrolyte. Find out the problem and inform maintenance personnel in time.

1.4 Water-cooled rails must be replaced if they are worn too much. Otherwise, once the water leaks, it will cause lining cooling and effect the lining life.

2. Regular maintenance work(Once one week)

2.1 Check the control circuit wiring terminals, IF capacitors, copper bar and reactor bolts. Tighten in time if loose.

2.2 Clean the scales inside and outside the furnace frame. Eliminate dust accumulation inside the power cabinet, especially the dust outside the thyristor core.

2.3 Timely replacement of aging and cracked pipes and rubber.

2.4 The connector of the water-cooled cable connected between the main machine and induction billet heater should always be polished and cleaned with alcohol to maintain good electrical contact. .

2.5 After the supporting equipment of the IF induction furnace is used, the internal waterway must be flushed regularly to prevent impurities in the water from clogging the waterway.

2.6 When the working environment temperature is lower than 0°C, after the equipment stops working, be sure to drain the cooling water inside the equipment to prevent the cooling water in the equipment from freezing to damage the equipment.
