Inquiry for 130*130 square billet induction heating furnace
After spending a wonderful Spring festival holiday, all the people start to work this week in China. In the first working day, Forever received one inquiry from Pakistan customer. Their inquiry is for 130*130 square billet induction heating furnace.
Their process is continuous casting and rolling:Melting scrap with melting furnace and then the liquid steel will be into continuous casting machine. During billet transporting from continuous casting machine to rolling mill, the billet surface heat will lose, our induction furnace is used for increasing the billet surface temperature to rolling temperature.
Nowadays, many large steel mill has used this process, which is more energy saving then the previous process. Before, people will send the continuous casting billet into warehouse for next rolling. But continuous casting and rolling process can make full use of the billet residual heat and increase the surface temperature only.
This customer’s square billet size is 130*130 with 3m length. They request the furnace to increase the temperature from 900-1150℃.And their capacity is 50T/H. For this project, our billet induction heater will be divided into two parts: one part is used for preheating the billet; another part is used for warm-up the billet. This design can ensure the highest heating efficiency and most energy saving.
Forever billet induction heating furnace will be composed of billet induction heater, 12 pulse intermediate power supply, cabinet, 304 stainless steel carrier rollers, remote console. All the actions will be controlled by PLC control system. And the console is customized, which can show the heating temperature, heating time, heating power, current and so on.
We will send experienced engineers for local installing, debugging & training. Users can also send technicians to our company to study. Usually it will take 10-15 days for installing and debugging, but the user should prepare everything we need.
For large project, to choose a good manufacturer of billet induction heating furnace is very important. The buyer should not only check the quality of billet induction heating furnace but also need to check whether your supplier has the after-sales ability.
