IGBT hardening and tempering furnace is more energy saving
In foreign countries, for example, in 1980s, Germany developed IGBT IF conversion power to replace thyristor medium frequency induction heating equipment, as if in 70s, thyristor replaced the frequency conversion power of the generator. In the early 90s, IGBT frequency conversion power was also developed in China. The power of single machine from 15KW to 1500KW can be used by various manufacturers. The domestic IGBT hardening and tempering furnace has reached the same level as Germany.
Compared with SCR, the advantages of IGBT hardening and tempering furnace are as follows:
1.IGBT hardening and tempering furnace can save energy 20%-28% than thyristor Medium Frequency;
2. This technolgy has improved the relibility of the induction heat treating furnace through IGBT. It can not only reduce the cost of power but also reduce the failure rate.
3. The reliability of the whole set of seamless steel tube heat treatment equipment has been greatly improved.
4. There is no interference and damage to the power grid.
5.The power factor should be kept above 0.98 without compensation.
