Heat treatment of all kinds of stainless steel after welding: after welding, the chromium element contained in stainless steel often diffuses and precipitates with carbon to form chromium carbide in the high temperature region (HAZ), which results in the reduction of local chromium composition and the inability to form protective film, and the corrosion conditions such as perforation often occur in these HAZ, which can remedy the fact that after welding, the object will be heat treated by heat treatment. Its effect can make the chromium element of other regions spread to this chromium deficient area, in order to achieve the protective effect.
In order to avoid oxidation, it should be heated in vacuum furnace or ammonia decomposition, noble gas and reductive atmosphere, so as to obtain bright surface heat treatment effect. In addition, attention should be paid to shortening the transfer time as much as possible, otherwise it will affect the heat treatment effect after aging. Thin materials shall not exceed 3 seconds, and general parts shall not exceed 5 seconds. Quenching media generally use water, of course, parts with complex shapes can also use oil in order to avoid deformation.
Metal heat treatment combines pressure processing deformation with heat treatment effectively and closely, so that the workpiece can obtain good strength, and the method of toughness coordination is called deformation heat treatment, and the heat treatment carried out in negative pressure atmosphere or vacuum is called vacuum heat treatment, which can not only make the workpiece not oxidize and decarbonize, keep the surface of the workpiece smooth and improve the performance of the workpiece, but also carry out chemical heat treatment through infiltration agent.
