Steel bar hardening and tempering line has the following technical features:
A. Induction bar heater
As the steel bar size is ø 20-50mm with 42CRMO4 raw material, we need to design four intermediate frequency induction heating power supply. The power and frequency is as follows: 300KW/2.0KHZ & 160KW/1.5KHZ used for hardening, 200KW/1.5KHZ & 100KW/1.0KHZ used for tempering. The power consumption is 480-510kw/h per ton. All power supply has functions of remote and local operation. Double closed-loop control system can ensure that the temperature for quenching and tempering will not effected by the external factors.
B Driving control
As the production line is continuous uninterrupted mode of operation, the entire production line control is using PLC and touch screen. The conveying roller table is using frequency motor to adjust the bar running speed. Compared with the traditional motors, frequency motor has advantages of high precision, wide adjustment, running more smoothly.
The following is the features:
1. When start the line, it can automatically complete the transmission and power start and automatically achieve the speed and power rise for reasonable match. When the production line is running, it can dynamically adjust the heating power to minimize the temperature fluctuation of hardening and tempering.
2. Control system has set, storage, adjustment, modification, statistics, printing for more than 30 sets of process parameters.
3. The system has speed, current, voltage and other closed-loop function to ensure that the hardening and temper line can run as the setting process parameters and the product quality is not affected by artificial and environmental factors.
4.The system has manual / automatic cutting and automatic rejection function.
C Tension and temperature
The quench and temper line has the tension detection and control device, so that the bars can be heat treatment in a constant micro-tension conditions. Because the temperature can have C Tension and temperature
